Professor Bernard Debré Says Cholesterol Isn’t Bad but Statins Are

French professor Bernard Debré recently released a controversial book claiming that cholesterol medications are a farce and that high cholesterol as a disease is a deception invented by the pharmaceutical industry.  Debre´ writes, “A rate of high cholesterol is not the cause of myocardial infarction and stroke.” Furthermore he says cholesterol is safe and that statins are prescribed unnecessarily in at least 9 out of 10 cases. Globally, the market reach for statins is nearly 25 billon dollars per year treating more than 200 million patients. After studying 50 clinical trails, Debré says statins “have in no way altered the frequency of cardiovascular diseases.”

To promote true cardiovascular health PERQUE Integrative Health recommends the Health Studies Collegium (HSC) predictive biomarker panel that can identify potential cardiovascular risks and an effective coarse of action when test values are set to their healthier, least risk value as determined by HSC and founder Dr. Russell Jaffe. This breakthrough biomarker panel represents a comprehensive health assessment that uncovers a patient’s “functional” age, which can be higher or lower than biological age depending on a person’s metabolic homeostasis. Dr. Russell Jaffe has been researching mechanisms of human heart disease since his tenure at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

When digestive, immune, neurohormone, and detox are in need of reset, PERQUE Integrative Health recommends the LRA by ELISA/ACT tests to restore healthy tolerance.
