PERQUE Integrative Health wins gold!!
Ok, so we didn’t win an Olympic gold medal but we did win Gold Partner status with the Emerson Quality Program℠ (EQP), the Olympics of nutritional supplement quality!
Emerson Ecologics is one of the largest, most well-respected, and well-regarded nutritional supplement distributors the world over. In an effort to promote nutritional excellence in the supplement industry, Emerson Ecologics created this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind quality assurance program.
The mission of the EQP is “to identify and verify manufacturers with a solid commitment to quality manufacturing practices.” This information is displayed to practitioners so that they can make the strongest nutritional recommendations to their patients.
The EQP awards three levels of partnership including EQP Partner, EQP Silver Partner, and the most prized level, EQP Gold Partner.
What does it mean to be awarded EQP Gold Partner status?
In short it means that PERQUE Integrative Health (PIH) met Emerson Ecologics’ rigorous quality standards including the following:
Compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Acceptable third party, Emerson Ecologics or agency audit
A raw material supplier qualification program
Raw material testing for identity and purity as evidenced on Certificate of Analysis (CoA) or by third party laboratories
Use of the most appropriate testing methodologies
Use of potency testing
A validated risk-based approach to testing adulterants and contaminants
Tests every batch for identity, potency (label claim), microbiological and other applicable contaminants
A stability program in place
Demonstrates evidence of research and product development, clinical trial support and sustainable environmental practices
