Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)
- 2 ripe but firm pears (Bartlett or Bosc work well)
- 1 inch piece of vanilla bean (scraped)
- ½ tsp. ground Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 c. water
Instructions
- Peel pears if desired (optional, for a softer texture). Slice in half and core.
- Place pears in a steamer basket over simmering water. Add vanilla and cinnamon to the water below for infused steam.
- Cover and steam for 8–10 minutes, until tender but not mushy.
- Plate warm and sprinkle with extra cinnamon, if desired.
