Dr. Erika Mennerick
My practice insight into women’s health
Erika Mennerick, DC, Cert. MDT has practiced in Elburn, IL, a far-west Chicago suburb, since 2005, utilizing hands-on chiropractic adjustments, functional rehab, nutrition, and lab testing in her patient care. The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® has become a mainstay of her assessment and treatment since she successfully completed the MDT certification in 2013. Dr. Mennerick is an instructor for the Motion Palpation Institute, teaching seminars on pregnancy & pediatric care, adjusting technique, and rehab. She served as part-time faculty at the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL from 2007 to 2014 where she taught a plethora of courses on pediatrics, pregnancy care, male and female health, adjusting technique, emergency care, and chiropractic listings. She is member of the American Chiropractic Association and was appointed to the board of the Illinois Chiropractic Society in 2021.
Dr. Mennerick’s happy place is in the northwoods of Wisconsin on her mountain bike or cross country skis, sea kayaking inland lakes, or hiking with her dog. Her partner, Tom Dvoratchek, is a personal trainer and endurance coach, so they have plenty of adventures to share. Together they are raising 2 teenagers who show them an entirely different view of the world but seem to be turning out to be pretty great people.
